Welcome to Gorefield Street Pride

Gorefield Street Pride is a community group which is part of a venture set up by Fenland District Council and was formed in 2011. The purpose of the Gorefield Street Pride Group is to increase community pride and ownership by improving the local environment and making Gorefield village a cleaner, greener and safer place to live, work and visit.

Street Pride gives volunteers the opportunity to make a difference to their local environment by holding clean up events and proposing improvements to the local environment. It is a great way to meet like-minded people, is good exercise and very rewarding.

People feel they get on better with their neighbours, contributing to the Safer Fenland Partnership key priorities, reducing crime and fear of crime by improving community cohesion, reducing anti-social behaviour through building respect in communities and improving community engagement.
